If you hire your child's equipment through any of the Hotham Sports outlets located at Hotham Central, Jack Frost, Pinnacle DP and Zirky's, your child will receive a FREE helmet for the duration of the hire. For more information just ask on arrival at any Hotham Sports outlets.
The Dinner Plain outlet is conveniently located for those staying in Dinner Plain, you can collect your equipment before heading up the mountain. It is your one stop shop in Dinner Plain to get lift tickets, snowsports lessons and equipment hire (skis, snowboards and toboggans), as well as some retail therapy! Just a few minutes walk away is the Cobungra Platter beginner ski lift and toboggan area.

There is a designated area next to the Cobungra Platter Lift called the Pea Shooter, for snowplay and tobogganing. Tobogganing can be dangerous and like all alpine activities involves inherent risks. For your safety please obey all signage when tobogganing. The toboggan slope may be closed due to insufficient snow depth or inclement weather. Toboggans are available for hire at Pinnacle DP, located on Big Muster Drive in Dinner Plain. They can also be hired at the Hotham Central, Jack Frost and Harrietville stores.

Please Note: If you purchase a ticket for skiing at Hotham it can be used at Dinner Plain, however tickets purchased solely for Cobungra Platter can only be used in Dinner Plain.
Private 60 min - $135 for one person inc. lift ticket. $15 per extra person plus a lift ticket
Private 90 min - $185 for 2 people inc. one lift ticket. $30 per extra person plus lift tickets
Private 60 min at 3.30pm - $109 for one person inc. one lift ticket. $15 per extra person plus lift tickets
2 hour afternoon for up to 3 people - $230. $30 per extra person plus lift tickets
Half day private PM - $300 for up to 6 people plus lift tickets
Full day private - $610 for up to 6 people plus lift tickets
You can have a lesson every day of the week but they must be pre-booked the day prior.

Mornings usually commence at 9.30am and afternoons at 1.30pm. This will be confirmed at the time of booking.
60 and 90 minute lessons are morning and afternoon. 2 hour lessons are in the afternoon only.

Located in Hotham Sports @ Central, there is an in-house tuning shop 'Base n’ Edge' where you can access a full menu of services from full equipment tune to the perfect wax job. The latest POV head cams are also available for hire.
Jack Frost is the closest rental shop to the Big D Kids Snowzone. Our friendly and experienced staff can help you and your family with all your equipment hire, lift ticket and lesson requirements.
Conveniently located next to the Jack Frost bus stop, you can collect your equipment and jump on the bus to wherever you desire! It's a great location for those staying in lodges in the Jack Frost area. With later opening hours it is a convenient place to visit on arrival and to make the most of your holiday.
